Truly thrilling

This week’s Thursday Thrill is strictly non-fibrous. “Martha” the hen crowed this morning! And, yes, I do find that thrilling. Although I agreed with Mr L that we would only have girls, I was a little disappointed that we were not to have a cockerel. I love them. I love the way that they look – their strut and their swagger, and I love to lie in bed in the early hours and listen to their crowing.

We don’t know if things will work out and if we will be able to keep him, but I am going to enjoy him while we do have him!

PS: sorry I  missed WIP Wednesday. No matter, though – things are still quite boring (though subject to some concerning estimations of yardage)
