Red Emperor by Ailsa Daly. My version: Pallid Emperor knit in Colourmart 70/30 Cashmere Silk 8/48 NM 4 ply in colour “Lipstick” – not as red as the name led me to expect, hence “Pallid Emperor.”

Lovely yarn to work with.

Work progressing well, with Chart A first iteration completed (5 repeats) and into the 4th of 10 repeats for the centre section Chart B. Chart A is repeated separately at the end and then grafted on to complete the scarf.

I should be completing UFOs but this one has a hold on me and I’ll probably opt to finish it over the next few days before some UFO-busting begins. Maybe. Or I might just begin a small shawl…

Oh, help me!
