Obviously suffered at the dogs’ attentions. I found this dandelion head lying in a puddle by the back door. I like this shot because it shows the tenderness of  the petals.

The island, and our garden, is awash with dandelions right now – they do really well here. They will be followed by other yellow flowers, for some reason the massively predominant colour of the flora here, over the coming weeks.
