This is what I did this afternoon in the Conservatory, whilst mighty I.T. matters were being discussed in t’office.

I gathered up the Drift on By skeins and cast on for a triangular scarf. The pattern is Reclamation, by Stefanie Japel and is a good match for the yarn, though I think I might have selected a larger needle.

The larger of the two skeins is finished and it is difficult to imagine that anything of useable size will come from this. And yet I knit on…

Shops are now open to sell anything on their shelves and we are no longer restricted to purchasing whatever some government official has deemed to be “essential”. We popped out to The Shed yesterday as I needed some parcel tape to package up some things that I need to be posting off.     i keep doing that with triangles… somehow I keep thinking I will magic more yarn!

      I rather underestimated the amount of yarn needed to cast off- it got a bit hairy towards the end
