Water Stash

I reorganised my spinning fibre and my yarns into colour groups according to the PS3 Elements colour groups. It wasn’t easy, there are some overlaps as I like certain colour mixes, such as blue and green together and purple with almost anything…

This is Water: Blue, Purple, Black

I had two stabs at it. Seems I can get some of the colours right at any one time, but certainly not all of them together.

From left to right, roughly: Snowflake in a lavender blue kind of shade (leftovers from an aborted baby gift), Merino lace from The Yarn Yarn in Peace colourway, Rowan Cashsoft 4ply in pale blue, Opal sock yarn in a purple/sky/beige, my Exuberance mohair/tussah, merino/tencel tops, more Opal Sock in purple/white/charcoal, Colinette Mohair (very purple), my hand dyed handspun ShetlandX, Hipknits silk lace, The Yarn Yard merino pencil roving, many tiny skeins of Orkney Angora’s Angora/Lambswool mix in various blues and greens.

Outline plans for Water include a Lead or Follow scarf in the silk, striped socks in the angora mix, some kind of hat in my Exuberance, and I will spin (if not knit the outcome) the merino/tencel. The purple/white Opal sock will complete a pair already in progress.

The other elements follow shortly.
