I have realised that my time as a designer has come. The “right” cowl pattern for that Posh Yarn just does not exist on Ravelry. As the Yarn Harlot has not yet published hers, I am going to have to design my own if this yarn is to be knit before the end of PS4 North. Now, I know I said I like to make Project Spectrum a personal challenge, but I hadn’t anticipated going this far so soon.
My problem now is that I lost all my knitting encyclopaedias and stitch dictionaries in The Great Divorce Debacle. I have one new little stitch dictionary, but it doesn’t have lace in it.
This is going to involve maths, you know. Sums!
Better wish me luck.
there a few lace stitches detailed here. Any use to you?

@jenny, Thanks for the link!
Oooh, look forward to seeing the results, bet you do a good job, maths or no maths, lol!
Well, I think not having enough lace pattern books is an ideal excuse to go out and buy some as a matter of necessity.
I still mourn my charkha which disappeared the way of Ebay during my GDD, sigh.
@Kari, “not having enough lace pattern books is an ideal excuse to go out and buy some as a matter of necessity.”
Not sure my ever-loving would agree with that!
You can do it, Beth :))
