Sunday Stroll

Unusually for a Sunday morning we galvanised ourselves this morning. The sun was shining and the forecast reckoned that the sun would be with us until lunchtime but not beyond. It was right, it’s now 1:30 pm and it’s chucking it down out there.

Not so this morning though. The sky was a beautiful blue and the wind was behaving itself for a change. We took the Landrover out to Cata Sand and walked the dogs over the dunes and onto Newark. The tide was against us but we managed to walk along tot he gap before Tresness and cross back to Cata whilst still keeping our feet dry.

It blew the cobwebs away and I am sure helped to lower our blood pressures. It was the recharge that we needed and gave Treacle some precious hours of peace with Nell out of the way.

I seem to have worked up a healthy appetite.
