I am not sure what is happening to The Antidote but the more I knit, the shorter it appears to be. I knit and knit but seem to make no progress. The recipe calls for 80″ and I almost certainly will not make it that long. It looks two thirds to me, though it only measures 46″ so is in fact only 57% done.
The point is certainly moot, I’ll most likely knit until the yarn runs out, but the mere fact that I am measuring and calculating suggests that it is time to pick up another project.
Let’s face it – at some point I am going to have to pick up the gusset stitches on Mr L’s socks! Try as I might to resist that knowledge, the certainty is sitting up and bonking me right on the nose end.
