I have not one Monday Muse for you today, but two: Elizabeth Abernathy Graham and Rachel
Abernathy Braff, sisters  who have produced their first issue of a self-published downloadable multi-media creativity magazine, Nuno.

I came across Nuno when I spotted this lovely cushion cover pattern listed at Ravelry last week. It went straight into my Favourites list and I investigated further, intrigued as I was. I found my way to the Blog. Intrigued still further, I went the whole hog and downloaded the current isse for $5.

What did I get for my £3.29? 150 ad-free pages, with over 30 project ideas, focused on reuse and recycling, and plenty of inspirational photography.

Whatever your current crafty interests you should find something in Nuno – but why not let it inspire you to try something new? If you work with yarn and knitting needles, stretch yourself and try something with paper and paint for a change!

My favourites include the wristwarmers made from recycled charity shop jumper yarn, the moss pin cushion embroidered with French Knots (Yay – I can do those!), that gorgeous Fern Pillow, pebbles set in felt, and the hats made from felted old sweaters – but there is so much more too! Plenty of projects to do with the kids too – like cutting paper silhouettes from shapes in photographs, potato printing, and woodland animal masks to make from cereal packaging.

I recommend that you give Nuno a go for a healthy dose of Autumnal creative nspiration. All you need is $5 or equivalent, a PDF reader, and some time on your hands in which to play. Access to a charity shop optional, but nice 🙂
