My life, with cats #14293

Yesterday was something of a frantic day. I had left my carding out from Tuesday’s setup, in the faint hope that I could continue with it. I never found time. So it was still there this morning when I got up. I shall have to move it away soon as I am about to embark on large-scale dip manufacture…

In the box is the previously carded Shetland that I am re-carding as it has compressed in storage. The batts that I have completed are “safely” stowed in the black bin bag, which had been left sitting proud on top of the box, to preserve the contents.

Even if I need to crowbar it in. The thing is, I am going to continue to be short of time and space in which to write and so a two-for-one is useful and I hope to do as many of those as I can. We just met our first Spanish self service fuel, there has always been an attendant whenever we have fueled up on previous visits. The machine took the card, asked which pump (!?), what fuel, and how much. It chucked the ticket out, said something in Spanish, and then failed to provide any diesel. We are… Continue reading October 21, 2020 at 11:21AM

At first glance, I thought Teddy WAS a heap of cleverly variegated carding!

It’s a bit like the clean laundry logic, of course the freshly washed stuff is better!

Ah, Nell the dog is the current expert on sleeping on clean sheets. Especially when she is straight off the beach…
