The Yarn Yard “Aurora” Col. 425. Merino 80%/Silk 20% laceweight 1200 metres per 100g
The Yarn Yard “Machair” Col. 422 70% baby Alpaca/20% silk/10% Cashmere laceweight 1200 metres per 100g
Although these two yarns are the same weight, they are very different yarns indeed and will suit very different projects. Project choice is going to be fun. See how fluffy the Machair is? Totally opposed to the sleekness of the Aurora, which has a higher twist and will give better stitch definition. Both are however glorious colours.
