Here we go again

So, no sooner do I get our Scottish adventures written up than we are off again.

Here is the route that we are taking

The Great Railway Adventure Holiday
The Great Railway Adventure Holiday

We have planned it on a two-nights-wild, one-night-on-site basis.

  1. Brodgar (wild)
  2. Dornoch (wild)
  3. Culloden Moor CC site (via a day on the Black Isle)
  4. Glen Banchor nr Newtonmore (wild)
  5. Halfway up Cairngorm (wild)
  6. Grantown on Spey (CC site)
  7. Glenlivet at Altnaglander (wild)
  8. Lossiemouth (wild)
  9. Dornoch CCC CS at Mill Farm
  10. Finstown (wild)

It’s the holiday-with-everything:

  • Forest walks
  • Beaches
  • Pizza
  • Railways
  • Dolphins
  • Fish and Chips
  • Wildlife Park
  • Ice cream
  • Falcons
  • Castles
  • Curry

Now, what more could anybody need, eh?

Highlights to be expected are: the Pizza from the Sutor Creek at Cromarty, followed by Dolphins (we hope) at Chanonry Point; Dunrobin Castle with Falconry Display; a curry sit-down eat-in; the Strathspey Railway; the Highland Wildlife Park; ice cream (Brora); the Cairngorm Funicular; and THREE fish and chip taste tests! (Golspie, Lossie, and Scrabster, we hope.)

We shall be back soon and then I shall have hundreds more photographs and lots more blog posts to write.
