Growing a new skill, part 2

The job is done.

I don’t believe it’s too bad a job ether. Not perfect, but what is?

Ohhhhh! That was soooo wonderful. Just to hear your voice once more after all these years filled me with joy, and oh I do need some joy in my life. I loved the fact that I could hear nature. The birds, the wind in the trees, the water trickling in the brook and the sound of the ground crunching beneath your feet.

I don’t know if you can access Brit TV over there but there have been a series, or two, of “winter walks” on BBC4. Filmed using a hand held 360 degree camera. No annoying background musak Just the sound that you would hear if you were there. That is what I miss so much. Not only am I locked down, I’m just too damn frail to go walkies anywhere these days, and I really did enjoy nothing more than a ramble along the country lanes and pathways.

Do please Please PLEASE continue to explore your video making.

Oh, Nev, it’s so very good to hear from you. I’m sorry that the news isn’t good though. We still don’t have a tellybox and the rotten old Beeb won’t let us use the iPlayer but it does all give me more time in which to explore my little world. I shall continue to push my boundaries and to make video even if only just for you, my dear friend. I thank you for the wee shove. I have a forthcoming prompt to address “Where I live” and this is why I wanted to tackle video. I plan a walk around my village to share with anybody interested. I am all the more determined to make that video now. Once we come out of lockdown again I may try documenting some of our travels with video. Really wish that I had thought of that when we were in Brittany because Brittany was stunning. I must get some photos uploaded soon xxx
