Eight FOs – and more

We had some sun today. It was too windy to take photographs outside, and too bright to take good photos in the conservatory. I compromised in the end and seized the light while I could.

I snapped my Yarn Yard club yarn

Which last night was cast on (I couldn’t take any more sock for a while) into a Bayret beret on Magic Loop.

It is lovely yarn. Pure wool, Blue Faced Leicester.

I snapped some FOs:

Handspun neckwarmer with very matching buttons 🙂

“Mama Janes” slippers

A Gretel

An Iris

A Blink

A Hypotenuse aka Pythagoras – which has been claimed by Mr L for his birthday

and a couple of cats, who came to join me in the conservatory…

…the new, tidy conservatory with cat-approved comfort features

Even if I need to crowbar it in. The thing is, I am going to continue to be short of time and space in which to write and so a two-for-one is useful and I hope to do as many of those as I can. Seems like a plan? … Continue readingA Month in France: Nothing is Lost

Apparently Aragon has locked down travel today. Seems we made the correct decision in getting back to France quickly. Yesterday was tough but we seem to be moving on again without resting. The Aire was not very lovely and the noise incessant. Half Term effect is in full throttle. As well as children being alarming,… Continue reading October 27, 2020 at 12:32PM
