This project was deftly enabled by Woolbird, a most generous and thoughtful Ravelry user. She was bang on the money when she tuned in to my ambition to produce a super-luxurious neutral coloured version of the Butternut scarf. The Rowan Cocoon yarn took my breath away – quite literally. No photographs can adequately demonstrate the feel of this scarf. No words that I have in my lexicon can possibly convey the sumptuousness of it. I wish that I might hand it round for you to feel and to marvel at…
What I can say is that I am a very lucky girl indeed. And I can say my thanks to Woolbird. I shall treasure this scarf for a long, long time.
