Chocolate tastes better than Savlon

A few scrambled thoughts for the day

  • Cleaning one’s teeth with Savlon Antiseptic cream may not be the world’s cleverest idea
  • the chooks have layed 8 eggs in 8 days
  • 20,000 border lace stitches are more than anybody should ever be asked to attempt
  • it’s maybe a good job that the Hotel Chocolat order has not yet arrived
  • we had fried home-grown-egg rolls two Saturdays in a row
  • I need to use up my purchased eggs now the girls are settling down to business, so I think a sponge cake is in order this weekend… or maybe on Wednesday
  • Ashford order deliveries are very speedy
  • my boredom threshold kicks in way before 20,000 stitches are effected
  • it’s maybe a good job that the Hotel Chocolat order has not yet arrived
  • I may be weaned away from my Bridgwater and on to some weaving, now that my loom stand has arrived
  • some people should not be allowed out on the Internet under any circumstances
  • sadly, I have to deal professionally with such people
  • it’s maybe a good job that the Hotel Chocolat order has not yet arrived
  • the chooks have formed an Escape Committee, led by Etta and Ella
  • if you need me this coming week, I shall probably be in my workroom… carding fleece
  • even after brushing with toothpaste and swilling with mouthwash, the taste of Savlon will persist

That is all.

Seems like a plan? … Continue readingA Month in France: Nothing is Lost
