My yarn for the Evenstar arrived this morning. A good choice, I think. It has rather more bright blue in it than I expected but is overall a soft and tranquil mix of blues. The ply looks good, neither too soft nor too firm. A non-challenging lace weight at 800m/100g and the handle is soft. [...]

There is a cornucopia of riches awaiting my East efforts in my stash basket, given my focus on spice shades as well as Yellow. We have rovings to spin and yarns to knit, and some yarns that I have earmarked for weaving too.

In the mail today, the return half of a stash swap that I made recently. The remaining rainbow Kauni has been replaced by two skeins of Malabrigo Worsted – and two more Amanda hats will be forthcoming. Amanda may be my favourite hat ever and I may never see reason to knit any other hat [...]

New stash from Kingcraig Fabrics.

This is an 850grm cone of 75% lambswool/25% silk. I am planning to knit myself a top from this, and also several pairs of fingerless mitts.
