Earl Grey Socks FO 1

Basically, a lovely semi-plain bloke pattern, with just a few errors in it. There is nothing that a slightly experienced sock-knitter can’t cope with though. An experienced sock-knitter will likely sail through, doing what they expect to, and never notice a problem.

The Toddy yarn is fabulous – really soft.  Beautiful to knit with. The colour is sumptuous, but reserved and suitably bloke-ish. There will be more socks in Toddy, one day. (For my review of this yarn, see this post.)

Earl Grey Socks FO 2

Knitting with the square needles was “interesting” and somewhat like the Curate’s Egg (good in parts.) I will review the needles asap but am giving Kollage a fair crack by waiting for replacement needles to arrive. As soon as they come, I’ll cast on  for more socks and then a review will follow shortly after.

These are really splendid socks. The recipient loves them, and so do I.
