A really great knitter

Apr 28th, 2010 | By wool gatherer | Category: Knit/Crochet Blog Week 2010

It is Day 3 of Knit/Crochet Blog Week and this post answers the prompt:

Write about a knitter whose work (whether because of project choice, photography, styling, scale of projects, stash, etc) you enjoy. If they have an enjoyable blog, you might find it a good opportunity to send a smile their way.

My first circular shawl. This was intended to be a practice run, in preparation for a blanket-sized version later.

This pattern is very simple to knit and suitable for the relatively novice lace knitter. The beauty of the piece arises from its geometry and simplicity.
