Glorious day today. We stoked up on a egg and bacon breakfast (don’t fret, it will be our single meal today) and then walked it off at Sty Wick – my idea of an empty Scottish beach, with acres of empty sand. I’m still struggling with the new camera and not many shots made it into permanent storage today. I did notice how nicely the light was illuminating Suzie and thought that for once I might get a good shot of her, but would she keep still? No, of course not. Still, for once we can just about see her face.

Beautiful shots of the beach and your adorable dogs. I can’t wait to finally move to Orkney (once our house sells) so I can go on these sort of walks every day with my little girl and Westie.
