This is what I did this afternoon in the Conservatory, whilst mighty I.T. matters were being discussed in t’office.

I gathered up the Drift on By skeins and cast on for a triangular scarf. The pattern is Reclamation, by Stefanie Japel and is a good match for the yarn, though I think I might have selected a larger needle.

The larger of the two skeins is finished and it is difficult to imagine that anything of useable size will come from this. And yet I knit on…

Not very big yet but more than half the yarn used

…despite all that I know of triangles and their areas.

    I rather underestimated the amount of yarn needed to cast off- it got a bit hairy towards the end  (Quote)
