Baby Merino 4ply in “Rustic”. One cone of 300 gms – 3/15NM – gving 1,650 yards (2,450 yards per lb) Price: £11.17 incl p&p.

The colour is rich and deep and the feel is soft and sproingy even though the wool is still oiled

I am planning a Girasole shawl from this and was considering socks from the leftovers but it looks to be quite loosely plied. I shall have to test knit a swatch and wash it to find out how it behaves.

Having to work very hard at not casting on immediately.
