There are lights beginning to show at the end of the Blink tunnel. Eight repeats completed and the first skein is close to its end.
I shall need to crack on, as the yarn for my slippers arrived this morning and is beckoning to me. I need to go look for some suede or leather soles that I can stitch onto the knitted slipper, for longevity (and safety - we have a lot of hard flooring in this house.) Information on where such may be found would be gratefully received. Go on, talk to me, I know you are out there!

I don’t know if Elann.com is available to you, I have purchased slipper bottoms from them in the past. I’ve read it’s best to use dental floss to stitch the slippers, but haven’t tried it myself. Let me know if you run into any trouble with the slippers.

Thank you, Michelle (and welcome to Woolgathering)
Elann is available, though so far I have resisted all temptation - postage, import duties, and VAT all take their toll in International purchases and make Elann less of a bargain than I would wish it to be. I’ll bear it in mind, though.
