RAKs
Random Acts of Kindness are just the nicest thing… and fibre folk seem to be the most generous of people. In today’s mail:
Thank you. You know who you are.
I can’t wait to have a go! So I am going to take the Shetland/Manx/Corriedale off Constance for tonight and have a play with this merino roving for a while. Or at least I hope to. It’s a grey and misty day and I am not sure that I have enough light to work by at the moment. I would hate to spoil my lovely gift by working without good light.
Spinning Day tomorrow. I have just made some almond tarts, a change from cake, but have a half plan to produce cake as well in the morning. I have to cycle to the surgery first thing, to have some bloods done, and I am not sure that I can fit everything in before spinning. The hard part will be achieving a complete distance from these warm, fragrant, delicious almond tarts until the ladies turn up tomorrow. Not easy!
