Well oiled

Well, my lovely new assembled wheel is now back in bits. It’s just had a coat of Danish oil. Second coat tomorrow. Then I’ll wax it. Of course, we’ve just cleaned up - and it was only then that I spotted the naked flyer in the office.

The fumes are horrible, so we’ve shut the wheel up in the conservatory overnight. I really must find out its name soon. Can’t keep calling it “the wheel”

    How about calling your wheel Maori or Kiri (Te Kanawa). You can’t call it Kiwi as Ashford produce a wheel called that.
