Great going - VERY nice early spinning. In a little while you’ll be wishing you could spin this way at will. My first skeins are still alive and well in a rug I wove about 20 years ago! They look so nice to me now.

Welcome, Dianna. Spring is certainly here, but is a typical Orkney spring, I think. Variable. Sun, wet, hail, and wind - and all within the space of 20 minutes, usually

Hi Beth,

My first ‘yarn’ was woven into a cushion top and looked much better there than in the skein. Your spinning is just fine. Have fun with this new skill!

Hope that spring on the island is more pleasant than spring in the middle of Saskatchewan Canada - pretty well still winter here.
